Principal Geotechnical Engineer at PSM, Ben Rouvray has more than 20 years’ experience working on geotechnical related infrastructure projects including road and railways. These have often culminated in risk management and/or remedial design and construction solutions.
Ben has managed and contributed as geotechnical lead to a variety of major infrastructure projects, including rail and roads, dams, tunnels, mining and land development throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East. He has worked extensively in the delivery of all phases of a project life cycle, from pre-feasibility, and detailed design and construction supervision, to risk and asset management, and forensic investigations. He has been involved in various technical advisory works, as well as design, review and assurance roles for a variety of owner and contractor client organisations.
Ben has worked on numerous projects across Australia, and New Zealand. He has a particular talent for leading and being involved in multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
Ben was appointed Geotechnical Advisor assisting TCA with Engineering Assurance (EA) for several projects, most significantly the Glenfield Junction Alliance. This included all aspects of geotechnical engineering from bridge structures, ground modification, earthworks and rail track formation design.
